Powered by Skedda’s Occupancy Tracking, Auto Check-In conveniently checks users into their upcoming bookings automatically after they are verified on-site – saving time, reducing lost reservations, and making utilization data more reliable.
When someone connects to their office network through Skedda, their presence is verified with an IP match. That match can happen actively (opening Skedda on web or mobile) or passively via the mobile app’s background task.
Once presence is confirmed, bookings are automatically checked into for the rest of the day. Auto Check-In complements existing methods like QR, in-app, and email check-ins, so you can run a mix of methods that suit your workplace policy.

Setting Up Auto Check-In With Skedda
- Have your team download the Skedda mobile app and sign in to your venue.
- In Settings → Occupancy Tracking, enable occupancy and enter your office’s public IP address.
- In Settings → Check-In, enable Auto Check-In for the rules and spaces you choose, and set your check-in window.
- That’s it. As soon as someone connects to your office Wifi through Skedda, their presence is verified and bookings are checked into automatically.
