Does Skedda encrypt our data?

Between our persistence layer and the application layer, we secure your "in flight" data by providing encryption using the industry-standard Transport Layer Security cryptographic protocol (strictly enforced to be a minimum of TLS 1.2).  The database server's certificate is validated in this process (the server name of the database SSL certificate must exactly match the server name specified by the application layer, otherwise the connection attempt is aborted).

Are our data backups secure?

Yes. Backups are encrypted and geo-redundant, ensuring your data is safe and recoverable even in catastrophic scenarios. We maintain frequent backups with point-in-time restoration capabilities.

How often does Skedda perform vulnerability assessments?

We conduct automated vulnerability scans weekly to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Does Skedda offer Data-Processing Agreements to it's customers?

We are happy to enter into a Data-Processing Agreement (based on the UK or EU GDPR) with any organization that has a Skedda venue account and that requires such an agreement for their own GDPR-compliance purposes. In general, we recommend that all venues with users/customers in the EU/UK sign this agreement with us. Please contact us at info@skedda.com if you wish to sign such an agreement with Skedda.

Do you support Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Skedda supports the authentication and auto-registration/provisioning of users through Identity Providers with a SAML 2.0 option. More information can be found in our Help Center.
